Travelling with Me, Myself & I

People tend to think travelling solo is a daunting endeavour. But it doesn’t have to be. As someone who has travelled alone many times, my solo travels have been the most amazing and life changing experiences.

The benefits are many, including:

  • Increased confidence
  • Greater independence
  • Better sense of direction
  • Freedom and flexibility
  • New friends and acquaintances
  • Sense of accomplishment
  • Realizing you’re more capable than you thought

I make a conscious effort to travel at least once on my own every year. It doesn’t have to be an elaborate 2-week trip overseas. It could be as simple as driving to another city I’ve never been before for a day or two.

When I return from these solo trips, I always feel refreshed and more ready to tackle everyday life with newly gained perspectives.

How do you feel about travelling solo?

Be better,

Kerry
